CPH Chemie + Papier Holding AG is an internationally active industrial group with its headquarters in Switzerland. Its activities include development, production and distribution of chemicals, papers and packaging films. By focusing on differing industrial fields, cyclical economic variations in the individual sectors can be offset.

The chemical division goes back to the oldest, still-existing chemical plant in Switzerland, founded in Uetikon in 1818. The present-day core segment includes zeolites with production sites in Switzerland and the USA. Additionally, CPH is the only manufacturer of pelletized fertilizers in Switzerland.

Newsprint and magazine papers, as well as laminated films for packaging in the pharmaceutical and hygiene industries are produced at the location in Perlen. With the startup of the PM 7, the Paper Division is the largest producer of newsprint paper and the only manufacturer of magazine paper in Switzerland. As a small supplier, Perlen Paper follows a niche strategy in international business based on high-quality ligneous papers for the European markets.
